Kate, our assistant, was born and raised in Lexington. She graduated in 2012 from Eastern Kentucky University with her B.A. in Communication. She then went to IDT, pursuing her degree in Expanded Duties Dental Assisting in 2015. Her passion came from her own personal experience when visiting the dentist as a young girl. Kate strives to build relationships with her patients and finds their trust very important and rewarding.
Kristen, our office manager, moved from Clemson, South Carolina, to Lexington in 2015. She graduated in 2014 from Clemson University with her B.S. in Business Management. Her interest in dentistry stems from her husband, Josh. He is a dental student at the University of Kentucky and will graduate in May of 2018. Kristen enjoys working with the team at Bluegrass Periodontics, as they all share the same loving and caring attitude toward patients. The most rewarding part of Kristen’s job is contributing to the patient’s overall experience at Bluegrass Periodontics, ensuring that they feel like family every time they come in.
